  • Worked for nationally recognized advertising agencies and production companies managing and supporting multi-million dollar accounts
  • Co-owned and operated small business consulting firm with clients in the healthcare and entertainment industry
  • Co-owned and operated local family small business working with the SBA, staff, and community 
  • La Canada Chamber of Commerce Ambassador serving local business leaders and new businesses

More Financial Stewardship

Susan recognizes that financial stewardship requires oversight and fiscal accountability.  

  • Graduated with high honors earning an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University
  • Institutional understanding of LCUSD as lead writer and coordinator during year-long preparation of WASC report and school site visit
  • School site council member for 15 years reviewing and overseeing school goals, site improvements, student achievement programs, and school safety
  • Negotiator for LCTA working with administration and teachers to support hiring and retaining high quality teachers
